About the Role

Are you passionate about creating detailed furniture designs and technical drawings? DARI is looking for a talented and driven Furniture Draughtsperson to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art showroom. This is your chance to be a key part of transforming design concepts into functional and beautiful furniture pieces that bring our customers’ visions to life.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Develop detailed and accurate technical drawings for personalised furniture pieces.
Work closely with our sales and design teams to translate client ideas into real-world designs.
Produce 3D visualisations and technical specifications for production.
Assist in ensuring that designs meet industry standards and functional requirements.
Help ensure designs are feasible for production.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are implemented correctly.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after a creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for furniture design and drafting. To succeed, you’ll need:

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) and 3D rendering tools.
A keen eye for detail, ensuring all measurements and specifications are precise.
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture design principles.
Excellent communication skills – you’ll need to work closely with designers and production teams.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when necessary.

About the Role

The role will be based in our new showroom and will include a range of duties, namely:

⁄ Greeting and registering of clients in the showroom.
⁄ Answering telephone calls in a professional manner.
⁄ Arranging of appointments for the sales team.
⁄ Processing daily orders and deposits.
⁄ Range of administrative duties.
⁄ Maintain showroom area in optimum condition at all times.
⁄ Assist with refreshments.

We are looking for the following essential skills:

⁄ Good organisation skills.
⁄ Possession of good communication skills.
⁄ Professional telephone manner.
⁄ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
⁄ Good use of email communications and Internet-based tools.
