Functionality Meets Design: A New Chapter for Furniture in Malta

Home can mean many different things to different people. For Jennifer Apap Brown, Creative Director for DARI, home is like a human being; each room fulfils a different function that is necessary for the wellbeing of the whole organism. Organic systems work best when each part is connected, just as homes are able to meet our needs when we feel synchronised with our space. The importance of this sense of connection was highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic. As individuals were forced to interact on a deeper level with their space, they sought to make changes – in any small or large way – in order to feel more at home in their homes.
